    Thanks to a grant from the South Carolina Conservation Bank, Audubon’s Silver Bluff Sanctuary in Aiken County is now permanently protected. Free and open to the public, this 3,400-acre natural gem boasts stunning Savannah River views, 20 miles of trails, restored longleaf pine forest and ponds that attract the largest concentration of threatened Wood Storks in the Palmetto State.
