Changing weather patterns shrink and shift birds' ranges, which can limit food sources and/or introduce them to new predators. As a result, more than half the bird species in North America are threatened with steep declines or extinction by 2080. That includes coastal birds, which are vulnerable because of rising seas. But take heart — there's plenty we can do to protect our feathered friends!
