We are thrilled to announce that Beidler's boardwalk is OPEN! Our new hours of operation are Thursdays, Fridays, and one Saturday each month 9AM-1PM. Spaces are limited, and must be reserved online in advance. Visit our Beidler Boardwalk Pre-registration page to plan your visit today!
If you are a Beidler annual pass-holder and would like to make a reservation, please reach out to staff at beidler@audubon.org or call the visitor center at (843) 462-2150.
If you are unable to register for a walk on our boardwalk, consider visiting the new Grasslands-Woodland Trails near the entrance to the center! These trails allow visitors to experience our Longleaf Pine and grassland restoration sites in a safe and socially-distant way. No admissions or reservations are required, although online donations are always appreciated.
For those who have visited the Center before, please be prepared for some changes when you return:
Beidler staff and volunteers look forward to your visit. Get your tickets!
Silver Bluff's trails and grounds remain open from sunrise to sunset. We encourage you to come to visit our outdoor spaces and enjoy fresh air and nature—bring along your kids and walk the trails. It’s the beginning of migration season and our summer birds are returning. Look for Red-headed Woodpeckers, Cooper's Hawks, and Wood Storks!
As we all take responsibility to slow the spread of COVID-19 please remember to bring hand sanitizer, practice safe social distancing of 6-10 ft, and do NOT share binoculars.
Thank you for your ongoing support! We encourage you to continue visiting our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as well as our website for any updates.
If you are stuck indoors and need a birdy-distraction, For the Love of Birds is a beautiful page filled with Audubon South Carolina’s favorite bird photos, videos, and stories!
