Our newfangled outdoor classroom pavilion is ready to go! This will help us accomodate school groups and other groups here at Silver Bluff.

ADA compliant bird blind at Kathwood Stork Ponds
This bird blind was built to make the Kathwood Stork Ponds more accessible. It was constructed with materials recycled from the old trailer classroom that was dismantled this year.
Birding is a pasttime that should be able to be enjoyed by anyone regardless of background or circumstance. Check out this great website on birdability.

MOTUS Tower installed
This tower will allow us to track birds by radio telemetry. Birds tagged with nanotransmitters that fly into range of these towers will automatically be detected, allowing us to record their presence without having to capture them again! 1st Ever Storks and Coffee!
We combined two of humanity's greatest vices, caffiene consumption and birding. Our event had 108 participants and there were around 30 wood storks seen during the event.

The Hunt for the Secrets of the Ghost Bird
