Cypress knees emerge, in all their various shapes from the shallow water of Beidler Forest. Full green leaves blanket above allowing bits of sun to shine down.

With over 18,000 acres of protected land, Beidler Forest is the world’s largest virgin cypress-tupelo swamp forest.  Become a member today to enjoy thousand-year-old trees, a range of wildlife, and the quiet flow of blackwater, all from the safety of our 1.75-mile boardwalk.  As a non-profit, your support allows us to:

  • Advance our important bird research, such as Project PROTHO

  • Provide in-person and virtual educational programming for students

  • Continue preserving and restoring 18,000 acres of Beidler Forest Sanctuary

  • Care for our education animals, like our resident Blue Jay, John Jay

Our members enjoy free unlimited admission to the boardwalk during open hours year-round.  We have two annual membership options to choose from:

Individual | $50
Admission for one person.

Family | $125
Admission for four people.
