There's nothing else quite like the light on the South Carolina coast. Photo: Nolan Schillerstrom

We always need great photos of South Carolina birds, and many of you are kind enough to share your images.  There are two ways to do that, and we’d love to hear from you!

Annual Calendar Contest:  If you win our Annual Calendar Contest, your photo will be seen by thousands of people.  There’s prize money too.  This year’s deadline is coming up fast:  August 31, 2017.  Here’s the fine print

Artist of the Month:  If you’re on Instagram, tag #Audubon_SC.  Each month, we feature multiple works by one artist (photographer, painter, or anyone else who depicts South Carolina birds in beautiful and arresting ways).

Photo Pass:  Imagine creeping into Beidler Forest when no other visitors are here.  And riding shotgun with our staff to Dewees Island, Brosnan Forest, our Silver Bluff Sanctuary, and the Donnelley Wildlife Management Center.  All that’s yours for $100 if you purchase our 2017 photo pass.  Here’s the fine print.

Questions?  For the Calendar Contest and Artist of the Month, contact Nolan Schillerstrom, nschillerstrom@audubon.org.  For the Photo Pass, Summer Washington, swashington@audubon.org.
