Beidler Forest

Hours & Admissions

In order to protect the health and well-being of our staff, volunteers and visitors, Beidler Forest Audubon Center & Sanctuary will remain closed until August 1, at which time we will reopen as circumstances allow.

We do not make this decision lightly, as we know that many of you are eager to visit the center. However, given the size and layout of our visitor center and boardwalk, and the increase in COVID-19 cases being reported in South Carolina, we believe that it is safest to remain closed. Our staff are working hard on a plan for reopening, and we will continue to update our website and social media if we have more information to share.

As a reminder, the trails at our Silver Bluff Audubon Center & Sanctuary in Aiken County remain open for visitation, Monday-Saturday from 9 AM - 5 PM.

As we all take responsibility to slow the spread of COVID-19 please remember to bring hand sanitizer, practice safe social distancing of 6-10 ft, and do NOT share binoculars.

Thank you for your ongoing support! We encourage you to continue visiting our FacebookTwitter, and Instagram as well as our website for any updates.

If you are stuck indoors and need a birdy-distraction, For the Love of Birds is a beautiful page filled with Audubon South Carolina’s favorite bird photos, videos, and stories!
