Mitigation Bank

The Beidler Forest Mitigation Bank ensures that permitted wetland losses within the Four Holes Swamp and adjacent river basins are mitigated in-kind and as close to the impact as possible. The Bank helps to reverse the loss of wetland habitat and values and prevent the degradation of water quality within the Four Holes watershed.

Unlike many banks, the Beidler program is managed by a non-profit conservation organization and operates only to protect the resource in which the Bank exists. Projects that support the Beidler Forest Mitigation Program ensure the conservation of Four Holes Swamp for future generations.

CREDIT SCHEDULE

Credit Type: Preservation & Buffer/Enhancement

Pricing: $4,500 per credit of any type

Purchasers of 25+ credits = $4,250 per credit

Purchasers of 50+ credits = $4,000 per credit

SERVICE UNITS

Zone 4b = Edisto Drainage (North and South Forks, Main Stem and all Tributaries)

Zone 4b = Combahee Drainage

Zone 5b = Ashepoo and Non-tidal portions of Charleston Harbor (Cypress Swamp, Wassamassaw Swamp, Ashley River and Wando River)

Zone 4c = Santee Drainage (Non-tidal portions)
