Welcome to Audubon South Carolina!
We encourage you to explore our website and learn what Audubon
South Carolina does . . . what's happening to birds and their
habitat in our state . . . and what you can do to protect
the places that birds and other wildlife call "home"
here in South Carolina, including Pennies
for the Planet.
We're blessed with a great diversity of birds across this
state, and whether you can recognize the call of a Swainson's
Warbler, or just know a Cardinal when you see one, we invite
you to investigate all that Audubon South Carolina has to
offer.
Discover what’s happening at South Carolina’s
Audubon Centers at Francis Beidler
Forest (outside Charleston, in Harleyville) and Silver
Bluff (in Jackson, near Aiken). These links provide information
on activities and upcoming events as well as directions and
contact information for each location. We’ll look forward
to your visit!

ASC will be partnering with Charleston County Parks
and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) to lead a monthly
bird walk at Folly Beach County Park.
The beach offers a fantastic setting for beginner and
intermediate bird-watchers to learn more about birds.
Folly Beach Bird Walks occur on the second Friday
of every month. For details on the time and meeting
place, please click here.
The program will be co-led by Audubon’s Jeff Mollenhauer
and CCPRC’s Keith McCullough.
There is no cost for the walk, but there is a $7.00
parking fee to enter the county park. Advanced registration
is required and space is limited. To reserve your spot,
visit http://www.ccprc.com
or call 843-795-4FUN (4386). |
