LOCAL AUDUBON CHAPTERS

Its six chapters are the face and voice of Audubon South Carolina at the local level. Chapters respond to the particular conservation needs and opportunities of their communities as well as support state and national priorities as needed.
Augusta-Aiken Audubon Society
The Augusta-Aiken Audubon Society has its headquarters in Jackson, South Carolina. Members live in both South Carolina and Georgia. The current President of A-AAS is Lois Stacey.
Charleston Audubon
The Charleston Natural History Society was founded in 1905 and serves the Tri-County area of Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties. The current President is Andy Harrison.
Columbia Audubon Society
The Columbia Audubon Society serves the needs of our midland members. Their website contains many useful links to birding information. The current President is Dan Tufford.
Hilton Head Island Audubon Society
Hilton Head Island Audubon Society was formed in 1974 and serves the communities of Southern Beaufort County. The current President of HHIAS is Howard Costa.
Lowcountry Audubon Society

Waccamaw Audubon Society serves northeastern South Carolina and a portion of southeastern North Carolina. With over 400 members, Waccamaw Audubon is a vital presence along the coast. The current President is Bill Lanham.
